BRANDON McCARTNEY of Westdale, Louisiana took this awesome
20-point buck in Red River Parish Thanksgiving week.  What a
phenomenal buck!  CONGRATULATIONS BRANDON!!!
MARK GARRETT of Red River Parish, Louisiana took this massive
10-point over the Thanksgiving weekend.  Looks like Santa Claus
came early this year!  GO GET 'EM MARK!!!
KEVIN COLEMAN, age 17 of Coushatta, Louisiana took this huge
12-point in Red River Parish over the Thanksgiving weekend.  The
behemoth buck was in pursuit of a doe along with another
wallhanger that Kevin hopes to harvest.  GREAT JOB KEV!!!
CHARLES LAZARUS of Shreveport, Louisiana took this outstanding
10-point in Red River Parish the first weekend in December.  The
big buck came out at the break of day to eat from a corn pile!  He
sported amazing 10" brow tines and 25"+ main beams with a total
score of 156.  WAY TO GET 'EM CHARLES!!!
CHARLES DENISON (pictured on right) of Rodessa, Louisiana took
this Caddo Parish trophy on December 1st.  To sweeten the
harvest, this was Charles' first week to hunt and already his 2nd
deer!  The young man pictured is his nephew.  We hope that this is
just the beginning of many successful days in the field.

JODY "CUDDE" BACKUS, of Ruston, Louisiana took
this 275 lb bruiser boar hog while deer hunting in
Lincoln Parish.  As you can well imagine, it looked like a
bear when it entered the lane.  Luckily for Jody it wasn't,
sparing him a $100,000 fine and filling his freezer with
pork chops!  KNOCK 'EM OUT CUDDE!!!
TODD H. MARTIN, of metro Calvin, Louisiana took this awesome mule
deer while hunting in Montana in 2007.  As you can tell from the
equipment he is using, Todd is a serious hunter!  We understand the
hills are bigger in Montana than they are in Winn Parish, also!
THAT'S A HECKUVA MULIE TODD!!!
TODD H. MARTIN, of Calvin, Louisiana submitted this pic of he
and his son on a fishing trip out of Hackberry, LA.  For you old
green trout (bass) fishermen, the trout this boy is holding pulls like
nobody's business!  Thanks, Todd, for sharing with us your
example of what our sports are all about.
GET THE GREASE HOT, BOYS!!!
STEVE BATES killed this outstanding 5x5 mulie in 2007 near Tannehill,
Louisiana (just kidding, of course).  There are many great
opportunities to be had in a day to two day's driving distance for area
hunters wanting to take non-native game.  This picture certainly
speaks of the extent of that opportunity.
THAT'S ONE FINE DEER STEVE!!!
TODD H. MARTIN, of Calvin, Louisiana has become a
member of the Hook'n Up & Track'n Down family as a regular
contributor and correspondent to the program.  Here he is
pictured (far right) with his son and a guide with a limit of
speckled trout and redfish caught out of Hackberry, LA.

JEFF McDONALD, of Natchitoches, Louisiana called in this huge
10-pt (with multiple 'ringholder' points) using a Primos Buck Roar call
he won as a door prize at the grand opening of Cane River Outfitters
in Natchitoches!!  The big buck weighed 165 lbs. after field dressing!
